Recovery from homelessness
We believe that people can and do recover from the problems that lead to homelessness.
St Mungo's aims to help homeless men and women on an individual level, working together to identify the support they need for their particular journey to recovery.
We've adopted a Recovery ethos and are piloting work around personalisation and PIEs (Psychologically Informed Environments).
- Our , from hostels to semi-independent housing, offer homeless people a way to move on into more secure accommodation and gain the confidence to live more independently.
- Our health services reach people excluded from other sources of medical and social care, enabling them to access help for physical and mental health problems, and tackle substance use.
